Liz is a professional clarinetist, violinist, and violist with extensive experience teaching and performing on strings, woodwinds and brass instruments. She has 17 years private and seven years public, parochial and home school experience teaching all levels of orchestra, band general music and choir. Liz performs regularly with the Beaufort, Sun City, and Lowcountry Wind Symphonies, as well as with smaller ensembles from Charleston to Savannah. In recent past, she has played with the Kansas City, Greensboro, Syracuse Summer Festival, Brevard Festival Orchestra, and the New York State Summer School of the Arts School of Orchestral Studies (NYSSSA) Festival Orchestras. This past summer, Liz won the audition to perform with the Spoleto USA Festival Orchesta (SC) and performed in their performance of Gustav Mahler's Symphony #4.
When she's not teaching, Liz enjoys being the "coolest mom ever" to two super-smart boys, Harrison and Liam; is married to the most amazing US Marine in the world, Paul, whom plays trombone and tuba; plus two crazy cats finish out her family, Huey and POTUS (bipartisan).
